Your Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing of Your Personal Information It’s important to know what happens to your personal information. Legislators have passed various laws to assist consumers in protecting their information. A federal law, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, requires consumers receive a disclosure at the onset of a credit transaction which gives information about the sharing of their information. This disclosure also provides consumers a way to opt-out of this information sharing. We provide this disclosure to all of its consumers. In addition, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) grants California residents the right to opt-out of the sale or sharing of their information to third parties.
